Minister Akello Inspects Construction Site for Tororo High Court

Hon. Akello Beatrice, Minister of State for Economic Monitoring, inspected the ongoing construction works for Tororo High Court.
The Minister who was in the District to monitor Government projects, commended the Judiciary for the development.
The Ag. Assistant Registrar of the Court, HW Hellen Edimu, in her brief to the Minister stated that the new premises will on top of having modern courtrooms, will have childcare centres and juvenile holding facilities.
HW Edimu added that the construction work was expected to be completed within two years.
The Minister, who was accompanied by the Woman MP Tororo District Hon. Sarah Opendi, urged the contractor to hold monthly meetings with key stakeholders so as to monitor progress at every stage of the work.
Present at the meeting was Tororo Chief Magistrate, HW Doreen Ajuna and other stakeholders from the District.
